people say they cant find cheap servers..HP PROLIANT DL360 G9 for 83 bucks with 16gb ram. im working on it now but thats going to be my main server.
im getting few more dell servers i think 2 of them.. i did upgrade the firmware bios update for my server P89_3.40_08_29_2024.signed..and i spent $80 for a tpm 2.0 module for the server
and upgrades the cpus they were cheaper than that tpm 2.0 module sad but true..i also got 8 1g port managed switch and 5 port 2.5 unmanaged switch to.. my 2009 mac pro and 2014 mac mini started to get into the mac world
few years ago. i did have a hackintosh for few years then i wanted to get a real mac.I got shit ton of hp 8000 and 8200 towers and did upgrade the 1 hp 8200 with the intel 2600 4cores and 8 threat cpu(i think im saying that right)
decent computer.. they said i couldnt put win 11 on older computers and proved them wrong..lol i dont think ill be installing win 11 24h2 bullshit.. its just is amazing what i can install on these old computers..
i also got hp t610 ww thin client im going to start installing linux on it when and what ill install not too sure just yet.. been going through my computer shit and had few free macs given to me awhile back so i started to mess with the 1 and got
unsupported macos installed.. not going to do much with it but normal shit surf the web and watch youtube videos so i can learn more setting up this site runs decently thinks its funny as hell it wants me to upgrade to another unsupported macos.. i may end up patching it for it though to test it out..
i got a gt730 4gb ddr3 video card im going to try to flash for my mac pro so i can upgrade the macos.. dont know why it was a bitch to upgrade the boot rom on my mac pro BUT finally got it upgraded too 144.0.0.0.0.. i got macos monterey on my mac pro able to upgrade too sequoia but no usb support but when i figure out a work around
for it then ill install it. another weird thing is gt730 after patching monterey its acting screwed up and need to figure out how to flash the bios to work on macos without having the screen flickering and not able to use it.

hp z800 i have a 250gb cache hard drive but something no one needs but i had a spare space and the drive was just in a box and i said why not..lol its useless and not needed but im doing testing and since i play few games its useful i have rx 580 gddr5
8gb video card but i did setup on the dell 1525 thats more useful than hp z800 pc.. as for games for me no problems running any games that i have and web surfing and moving files around seems to work alot better BUT DONT NEED 250GB to do any of it..
DEC 2025 UPGRADED MY SERVER CPUS TO ITS MAX. I GOT A HP Z840 DAUL CPU SETUP SO HAD TO MAX THAT OUT TOO.BOUGHT MORE RAM FOR MY SERVER BUT STILL NEED MORE RAM LOL.. O YA REPLACED THE MAIN HARD DRIVES TO MY SERVER WITH 2 128GB SSDS..
ALSO GOT SSD FOR THE HP Z840 1TB.
the toughbook hp l2000 and the thinkpad are used for radio programming computers i got more and will add them.this is what i do with older computers turn them into radio programming i do got a thinclient also and a dos laptop..
the thinkpad has a comport and thats what i need to program like my astro sabers and others.. installing win 7 32bit updates and will see if microsoft still has rest of the updates i downloaded handful of updates and saved them.. the toughbook and
the hp l2000 doesnt have a comport yes i do have a usb comport but at times it doesnt wanna work right and others works great..also i will be able to reset few of my switches for my network since they also have a comport cable so itll help me with
that too.. whats crazy is i found bios update for the thinkpads and i got 2 500mhz and 550hmz this is acting weird so im not sure what ill be doing with that and that has xp on it..thin client is hp t5740e with 4gb win 7 32bit 500gb hard drive..
if your wondering i can get updates for win 7 i was shocked to find out i was still able to download updates!!!!! ill be updating ALL my win 7 computers before they cut them off and should take pics of the updates too... just took pictures of the
updates so if i need to i can find and download the updates..i should just download the updates so i wouldnt need to worry about it.. its mainly cause if hard drives fails and wont need to worry about it vause to this day i still use win 7
mainly 32 bit for radio programming.. thanks microsoft least your still keeping the updates for win 7 FOR NOW..
dos computers specs i need max is 486 nothing faster than that or ill brick my systems sabers and others.and i need pure dos and able to disable the memory cache or itll screw up my radios.. i have to be picky on the specs
to program older moto and kenwood radios.. few people learned the hard way (not me) sometimes its better to use pure dos vs dos box.. even i couldnt fix their screw ups when they did that. dont half ass shit when you need to use dos and always lookup
and do research to figure out whats the best option for you.. i got other hard drives to put dos 6.22 on it and get me pure dos.. i dont know when ill do that but thats something i need to do.. its just is amazing what i can install on these old computers..
